Mike joined the team us as a Resident Artist in July 2023 and has quickly become a firm favourite here at Atelier Four! His dedication to his art and incredibly personal and bespoke designs truly shows in his tattoo art.

Mike specialises in black and grey tattooing with designs bespoke to each client, with influences ranging from the Renaissance to the Gothic sensibility. The main subject matter that he likes to explore visually is Mythology, Folklore nature and esoteric symbolism. 

Originally from the midlands, Mike apprenticed at Equinox tattoo studio in Borrowash and later set up his own private studio in Ashby De La Zouch to work one on one with his clients. After three years of working in his home town he decided to move to Falmouth Cornwall, a place he originally moved to in-order to studio Graphic Design before entering the tattoo world. The love for nature and coastal living is a constant spark for creativity to fuel his passion for art.
